Wonderful Place to Experience Multi Activities

Had a wonderful time experiencing these activities. Never thought I would do zip-lining at my age but thoroughly loved it. You must try the Mumayana. Wonderful place and very friendly staff

Zipping and dumb buggies was great! We also my passed out from the heat and walking to each zip line however it was amazing. The little family house tour were they make the coffee and chocolate was a great experience. The horse back riding was ok. I had a aggressive horse, which still was fun she just wasn’t ready to go out and had yo be calmed down. Great all around. Long day ahead of you so get ready

Best Bag for your Buck

Listen, this excursion was worth much more than the price! From all the excursions, to the food (which was authentic and delicious) it was an amazing experience. There was a photographer there the whole time and the ziplining and dune buggies were so exciting. 10/10. Definitely recommend! Make sure you bring a change of clothes for dune buggies, scarf and glasses because you definitely will need it.

PS Our tour guide Javier was amazing as well!
A Little Bit of Everything

Had a great time on this excursion. You literally get a bit of everything. Had an excellent tour guide and great group. All of the different spots were so welcoming. Would recommend this to anyone having trouble deciding on an excursion to chose.
Amazing

The trip was amazing to say the least
The guys were very informative and treated us like family
We were given history and knowledge of the current ways
Shown much more than advertised

Love the Zipline it was the best part of the tour for me. Enjoyed seen the colonial city, market and cathedral. About the trip while getting to and from the the different activities if you just look around while getting there you get to see how life on a day to day basis is for the locals. And it takes you away from the Resort area.
A wonderful way to Spend my 70th Birthday!

This was definitely one of the hightlights of our trip. Corbin and Ben took excellent care of us. They were obviously very knowledgable, encouraging and succeeding at it with several guests over 60 as well as several younger guests. They pointed out all the flora and fauna, gave the history of the place, as well as providing snacks and drinks. They were very patient making each of us feel quite secure and confident! We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Winter Break!!

Frank and our driver (didn’t get his name) we’re superb from start to finish! Pick up was smoothe. Communication was
Consistent since the time I booked on VIATOR. Reminders constantly sent which was amazing

Everything was explained since the beginning so we all knew what to expect

First stop was the ranch in which we did zip line, horseback riding and dune buggy in that order. The guides were incredibly attentive professional and did not ask for tips like others mentioned in reviews

It is SUGGESTED to get a bandana but honestly it wasn’t needed. I did purchase the package which was 40 pictures sent to me within minutes for 55 dollars. If you can get the package the photos are beautiful. Everything was so organized . Lunch was waiting for us and delicious which was fried chicken and rice and beans. Purchased lockers for 5 dollars but you get 3 dollars back. We also watched our guide make hot cocoa from scratch and even tried our hands

We then went to the cigar factory and again met by professionalism. We got a welcome cigar and rolled one of our own. Another beautiful spot!!

Last stop was Macao Beach and it was AMAZING ! Yes there are many vendors but if you
Politely decline they go away. The waves were monstrous and the sand the color of brown sugar! It was a quick 25 minutes

We were all dropped off in our respective orders to our hotels with no incident! I traveled with a 14 year old who had a blast! Highly recommend
Excellent

Too much waiting around but good tour.

To start off I would do it again. But with the knowledge that it’s gonna be a long day and ur probably not gonna get any information from certain your guides. We were the first to get picked up then we spent the next 1.5 hrs picking up other ppl. We were also the last the get dropped off. They should’ve organized like how others do where they pick up the hotels that are closer together and have them all meet up to conjoin the bus. Our tour guide didn’t give us much information. He didn’t tell us give us information on what we were looking at or the history behind it. There’s a lot of waiting around. The city tour was to the market and back. It’s like majority of it he was trying to get us to spend money at gift shops which even tho they tell u it’s cheaper because it’s local it’s not. It’s all the same price. But overall it’s nice to see a different part of the DR.
Good but didn't quite fit the description
Susan_H, 01-01-2023
The zip lining was thrilling with plenty of support. The other was also OK, but it was only 6,5 hours including transfer, not 8. The riding was very short, we didn't get to see the basilica or the market or to see the cigars being rolled (only the shop where they were being sold). There was only water to drink - no sodas and we had to pay for our beer. We couldn't hear the commentary in the back of the bus and a fellow traveller had to try and repeat everything to us. Despite all this, I think it was good value for money, but the description needs updating. We weren't allowed to take our phones or cameras and we found the price of the photos horrendous ($55 for digitals) so we have no memories.
5 in 1 tour

The tour guide was very nice. The horseback riding was short and very slow, with no helmets. The cocoa farm tour was great but forget getting change back from a purchase you feel obliged to make . The city tour was a silent “ follow the leader” tour through the food market. Lots and lots of time for tourist shopping. Lunch was lovely. The zipline was great. The dune buggies entailed more time sitting and waiting (with the power on/exhaust fumes polluting) than driving. Our dune buggy had exposed live wires that needed reconnecting to proceed. A lot of the tour was about tourist shopping and professional photos, and less about the inhabitants, culture, learning anything and the experience. Nevertheless, we returned safe an hour later than discussed and enjoyed the company we met.
Slow pace trip, limited activity
Adam_S, 28-12-2022
Activity portions of trip too limited in duration. 200m horseback riding, 5 zip lines, 40min in buggies, but 20min of that was stopping to repair broken carts.
So-so tour

I would never write anything negative about a tour but I expected more from this tour. First off, the van wouldn’t pick us up at the lobby of our hotel, we had to meet them at the front gate. Everyone else on the tour was picked up at the lobby of their hotel.
The tour guide (Javier) did not describe or talk about any of the places/areas we were visiting or driving through. He talked on his phone most of the time.

We went to a traditional Dominican home and learned about the coffee and cacao process.

We went to the horse farm where we rode on a horse, for about 10 minutes, around a pasture.

The city tour consisted of a 5 minutes walk through a market, where nothing was described or explained. We then went to a gift shop.
Our group skipped the church portion and decided to eat instead.

The food was good and refreshment was given throughout the trip.

The zip line portion was also good.
The buggy ride was through a trail, nothing exciting, I expected more.

At the end, everyone was dropped off at their hotel and my family and I was dropped off at the gate to ours.
Despite everything, I wouldn’t have given such a review but I was very upset by the disregard to our safety.
Javier stayed at one of the hotel to collect money from people who were buying pictures. When he left, he didn’t close the van door and it swung open as the van was driving. My daughter and I were facing the door and had to hold on so, not to fall out. Another passenger tried to close it but it was stuck. We told the driver, he saw it but, he didn’t stop to close it.
For the price, it was not worth it.
