Great activities also tge service is great the only thing was that we made 3 stop two of them were on the high way and also the third stop was at a shop they tried to oversell just because they know you a tourist. Be on point and always ask at what rate is the exchange.
Saona Island

Saona island is beautiful and a must if you are visiting DR. Our tourguide, Danny boy, brought so much energy to the group and made sure we had a great time! He told us what we should and shouldn’t do and told a bit of history about DR. I highly recommend visiting Saona Island! We had a amazing day, enjoyed a pina colada, the food and of course the beautiful island and the natural swimming pool.
Genuinely one of the best tours weve had.

Had booked this trip before reading the recent bad reviews, and we are actually glad to be honest... This trip was absolutely AMAZING!!

We were lucky that we visited Altos de Chavon early, and there was only 2 other couples in our group (maybe lucky?). In fact the 6 of us were the only people at Altos de Chavon for nearly an hour. Driver "Richard" was on time and and "Benjamin" was awesome at providing history/information about the area in English and Spanish.

Next stop by voach to Bahiyabe Beach, where we met up with a much larger group, and met our Saona Island Guide "Danny Boy". (Again spoke perfect English/Spanish).

Speedboat took us to Saona Island in 25 minutes. Stopping at the lagoon for RUM and optional photos (which werent forced on us). We even saw a starfish up close and again this may have just been luck.
The speedboat does hit the waves hard, and if you have back problems i would say to not take this tour, as it can be jarring. (Hold on to your hats too).

On Saona Island we were the first large group to arrive and had around 2.5 hours to either... eat from a nice fresh buffet, which all food was covered over; or to Sunbath/Swim in the beautiful water.

Catamaran then took a more steady 2hr trip back to mainland. Yes there is loud music and dancing +more booze. But we grabbed the netted sunbathing area at the front, which was alot quieter. There were small children aboard and even they were loving their day out.

If you dont like partying (loud music) my advise is to not book trip involving a "party boat".

It may have been we we're just lucky overall, because of the timing/numbers of people, but thats just life and everyones experience will differ.

It is a long day (12hrs from pickup to drop off) but it was by far the best day we have had in the 2 weeks we have been here.

I highly recommend this trip, (unless you are the sort of person who expects too much for the price).

Overall one of the best tours we've ever been on, and (as per above) we would highly recommend.
Must see!!!

Amazing trip with great guides and photographers and catamaran crew. I couldn’t be happier. We went to Altos de Chavon first and nobody rushed us. Amazing place for pictures. Our guide was amazing and we really had a lot of fun with dances on catamaran. Lunch was very good too
Fun day!

We had a great day! We first got to see Altos de Chavón aka “Little Italy”. Such a cute and pretty place. We saw the amphitheater where Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Shakira, Julio Inglesias, Gloria Estefan, and others have concerts. Very cool spot. Then we went to Saona island. This place is GORGEOUS! The color blue is unreal. We had maybe about 3 hours. When we got to the island, they served lunch and it was delicious! We enjoyed it very much. Make sure to bring cash if you want to get fresh coconut water for $5. The alcohol they serve is included with lunch but if you want a alcoholic drink in the pineapple, it’s $10. After I finished lunch, these ladies came up to me offering massages. I read about this so I made sure I brought cash. Massage on the beach…can’t beat that. $85 for 45 min. (This is cheaper than at the resort I stayed at, which is $120 for 50 min.) The lady put this ointment or oil that smelled so good and had a warming effect. I wish I asked her what she used. I would totally buy it. It was a great full body massage. The other ladies offered a free minute massage as a sample, which is a good business tactic to get customers. They have 30 min massages but I don’t remember the price for that.
After that, I went for a swim with my bf. I think if I didn’t get the massage, the time on the island would be fine, but with the massage, I wish we were on the island longer. Overall, we had a great time and loved Saona island! The photographer took great photos of us and all the crew members were great. We recommend this tour!
Great but crowded

Everything was great except the crowd on the island and very expensive photos. The tour guide was also good and Altos de Chavon was really a great experience
Amazing

We loved the village and the island, true paradise. My only two reasons for giving 4 stars is this is a whole day experience and you only get food at lunch which makes the day even longer. Make sure to take some water and some snacks to keep you going unless you can go without food for quite a while. Secondly the constant pressure to give tips like 5-6 times throughout the day was not to our liking. We actually ran out of cash in the end and couldn't give any to the bus driver which we thought was unpolite but couldn't do anything about it. So make sure you take loads with you. Other than these 2 little things the trip was amazing and enjoyed it. Thank you very much.
