We booked the excursion with Octopus (Sadan Hernandez) of Turissimo at Ocean Blue & Sand Resort. He was awesome in getting all the details worked out for the boat in addition to just being friendly and helpful all week long. Definitely recommended if you want to have fun in a beautiful place.
The snorkeling was very good but not great. Unfortunately, we were snorkeling along with several other much larger party boats. However, we were not all that interested in the snorkeling and more interested in the boat ride and afternoon in the shallow water.
The catameran was the perfect size for our group and had a nice sun deck on the top which provided great views of the water (and seaweed too).
The highlight of the excursion was the floating bar and shallow water “play area”. Our group had a lot of fun with all of the staff members, despite Michael’s inability to throw a football spiral....lol
We purchased pictures of the trip from Rosemary who was very nice. It did take a couple weeks to finally receive the pictures.
Some things to consider that would be great additions to the excursion - find less crowded locations for the stops versus being around other large parties. And clarity on what food will be served/available during the trip.
