Enjoy an exclusive, beautiful and modern 42-foot motor yacht for a private fishing charter. Able to take 8 fishermen in comfort. Private yacht is absolutely clean and perfectly equipped with top-class equipment for deep-sea off-shore fishing. The yacht will be navigated by a local Dominican captain with more than 7 years of successful experience and two mates/assistants. A private transfer van is also available and included in the price!

Can’t beat Mother Nature and the seven seas, this time!

Despite our tour being cancelled due to bad weather, I would just like to thank Yustas for his professionalism!
We were due for 6hrs on the amazing Fortuna for fishing & snorkelling - however December being one of the more windy months in the DR, we expected Mother Nature was in charge and would decide if the seas would let us go fishing!
Yustas kept us updated from the moment we arrived at our resort mentioning the 7-8ft swell may result in a cancellation.
He returned our deposit very quickly, even though I didn’t expect it - Their amazing fleet needs to be out earning as I’m sure they cost a Fortuna to maintain!

Awesome experience. We had a really great time 6 hours fishing charter on the boat Fortuna! Captain Cocote and mate Martin is really great crew. They were professional, kind, and a lot of fun! These guys know what they are doing and will do their best to get you on the fish. When your fishing there is always the chance you come back empty handed but do to their experience we caught a few beautiful mahi mahi and one cuda that day. I would recommend doing a private fishing charter with Big Marlin Charters company and skip the shared one due to a few people being late or sick. After a awesome day out the crew cleaned up the mahi mahi and recommended a small local restaurante on the beach to take the fish to be properly cooked. Highly recommend and will definitely be back, thanks again.

Big Marlin Fishing is top notch! Picked us up at the hotel and had us to the boat in no time and we were on the water in 15minutes. We did a six hour charter and caught durado and large yellowfin tuna (55-60#)!! Marten and CoCote were both awesome! Marten made sure we had everything we needed. Fish on and in the chair! CoCote (sp?) put us on the fish! Both guys are personable and professional and made sure we caught lots of fish! Thank you Big Marlin Fishing! Do not hesitate to book these guys. This was our 8th charter in various Caribbean locations, and these guys were the best!

My husband and I had an AMAZING time fishing with Big Marlin!
They arranged for their van to get us to and from our resort to the launch point/ boat.
Martin was our first mate. He was excellent at helping direct us so we wouldn’t miss out on our opportunities to catch fish. We ended up with a great haul of 7 Dorado and 1 barracuda. It was my first time fishing in my life and I had a blast!
When we got back to land, Martin helped us get one of the dorado cooked at one of the beach cafes/ restaurants. This ended up being the best meal we had of our whole trip!
We would not hesitate to repeat this excursion!
