the trip is really fantastic!
it started with a visit to a dolphins prison which is really sad i'll ignore that part
the snorkeling was ok and then after that the party in the lagoon was just great, we had a great group of people.
we did run out of drinks and there was only a little bit of nachos as far as food is concerned, there was no wine.
i don't want to rate this less than 5 stars, really had a great time, just the dolphins thing should be left out.
the crew was really great and doing their best to make up for the lack of rum which was not their fault!!!

If you are looking to have an amazing time, snorkel and see tons of fish, and party on the water with your crew then this is the boat for you! The tour around the ocean was great and the party never stopped. Thanks for making this the best day of our trip!
Catamaran Sailing Adventure

My boyfriend and I are from New York and recently had a short vacation in Punta Cana (December 2016). We sought to escape the resort experience for a day in favor of the natural beauty and adventures offered by the Caribbean side of the region. The Catamaran Sailing Adventure gave us exactly what we wanted. It was well organized, lots of fun and we felt safe throughout.
Felix was great at describing everything to us over phone (in English) before the excursion and making sure we came prepared with sunscreen and a hat. We paid $90 per person. I'll provide an account of the trip and all that was included.
A mini-van picked us up at 7:30AM. It took us and about 8 other people (from all over the world) first to a large, but otherwise conventional souvenir shop and then to the dock where a boat would pick us up and take us to the snorkeling spot. Snorkeling gear and life vests were provided. Non-swimmers were advised to remain in the boat. This was my first snorkel, so although I didn't see much aquatic life, I was thrilled just catching a glimpse of 5 or so tropical fish. Next we headed to Saona Island and spent some time in the breathtaking Piscina Natural where the water is clear and starfish are plenty. This part is safe for non-swimmers; the water is usually less than 5 feet, but I was surprised by sudden drops. After that, we boarded the boat (which picks up considerable speed) and were followed by birds who, we were told were eager for us to throw them some bread. We unboarded at Saona's scenic if rocky beach where we were given food and drinks. Both were lackluster by any standard, but our expectations were not high. We relaxed for over an hour before heading off to the catamaran (which would return us by the dock) wherein we were given a good amount of rum and thereby convinced into dancing bachata and zumba, a joyous experience indeed. The previously quiet mini-van was full of delightful chatter on the way back, and we returned to the hotel at around 6PM.
It is worth mentioning that Francisco was a friendly and talented photographer who accompanied us throughout the trip. The photos were so great, we were happy to pay for the CD. When we returned home, we had issues loading them up on the computer and emailed the company, worried. To their great credit, they were very responsive to this and this issue was resolved. We highly recommend this excursion and this company if you are looking for some adventure in Punta Cana.
